Toronto's independent weekly - NOW Magazine - was launched Thursday, September 10, 1981 as the city's alternative voice. Starting with just five staff members, founding owner/operators Michael Hollett and Alice Klein have seen the weekly grow to become a key cultural and political voice in Toronto - and Canada - with more than 100 fulltime employees.

NOW could think of no better way to celebrate its 25th anniversary than to have a big green birthday. In addition to our Ancient Forest Friendly Paper Policy, we've been working on a number of exciting green initiatives. And we are committed to doing everything we can to continue to reduce our environmental footprint.

Formed in 2005 Wild Faith Productions aims to produce provocative and original films. It's mottos is: "It takes a wild leap of faith to believe you can make a difference. Don't let that stop you."
